Frequently Asked Questions
What is low waste?
Low waste is a movement/lifestyle/methodology when you try to lower the amount of plastic and waste you produce. This can be applied to your personal routines, households, companies, manufacturing processes and more. Low waste is different from zero waste because it recognizes the difficulty in being 100% plastic-free and that this large burden should not be placed solely on customers.
What is zero waste?
Zero waste is a movement/lifestyle/methodology when you eliminate all waste and plastic from something. This can be applied to your products, packaging, personal routines, households, companies, manufacturing processes and more. Nothing goes in the garbage. Everything is reusable, refillable, completely eliminated, or recyclable. Zero waste is something that works best when applied to products and businesses and is an unrealistic expectation for most people. Zero waste is what we strive for. Most of our products are zero waste but some are only considered low waste. We put the quality of a product and appeal to customers over a product being 100% zero waste.
Are all of your products completely plastic-free?
No. While the majority of our products and all the products we make ourselves are 100% plastic-free, we do have a couple of products with plastic. The only products we have that contain plastic are mainly in our Shaving and Deodorant collections where it is hard to find a high-quality and Canadian-made alternative. We hope to be completely plastic-free soon!
Do you have a retail location?
No. We do not have a retail location, we are currently an online-only shop.
How can I get my products in your store?
If you think our shop should carry your products or if you are a customer who wants us to sell another brand's products you can fill out the suggestion form here or at the bottom of our website.
Do you sell outside of Canada?

What is Solid Lotion?
Solid Lotion is our take on a lotion bar. It is a solid bar made of oils, butters, and waxes. It eliminates the need for plastic packaging and annoying pumps and squeeze bottles. You massage it on your skin and a layer of lotion will apply to your skin.
How does it work?
You massage the bar onto your skin and it will activate through the warmth of your skin and apply a layer of lotion.
What are the ingredients?
Solid Lotion is made with: Organic Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, and Vitamin E Oil. For more information about these ingredients check out the Solid Lotion product page here.
Where is it made?
Each Solid Lotion Bar is handmade by us, For Earth and All, in Windsor-Essex Ontario.
Does it need to be kept cold?
Solid Lotion does not need to be kept in the fridge or at cooler temperatures. It is fine at room temperature but may get a little melty at hotter temperatures, however, we have never actually experienced this.
What is the packaging?
The packaging is made of kraft paper and a label. It is home compostable and the outside box is recyclable. Any part of the packaging that may have gotten oily from the bar should not be recycled but can still be composted.
Do you offer wholesale?
We are currently working on setting up for wholesale. If you are interested please send us an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
